All fine, but breakfast chaos

Had a fantastic group trip with friends! Loved the fun water park and the private beach. We stayed in the Club Mirage Family Suite Ocean View, waking up to beautiful sea views. The food was great, making our stay even better!

However, the front desk service was poor, making check-in and check-out frustrating. The room condition felt quite old, which was disappointing.

stunning resort but lacking in some areas

The building is gorgeous, and the garden with waterfalls leading to the beach is truly delightful. My room had high-end features, including a Jacuzzi on the balcony which made for a perfect retreat. I noticed many families enjoying the special facilities for children, demonstrating the family-friendly atmosphere.

While the ambiance was amazing, the service at times felt a bit slow.

Perfect for family chaos

Arriving at the hotel was an experience, like stepping into a bustling universe! The club lounge had this amazing kid's area-my son was thrilled with a slide that went right down into the main lounge. It was like a child’s fantasy land for him! Things settled down a bit when I found out that they had an adults-only lounge too, thank you for that!

Now, let’s not kid ourselves, it wasn’t a bargain, but then again, you pay for the chaos.

The resort has excellent customer service. The breakfast offers a wide variety of international cuisines. There’s a great water park with fun slides for families. My room had a fantastic ocean view and a comfortable bed. Cleanliness and amenities were great. 😊

The make-your-own pancake machine at breakfast was a hit with the kids, adding a fun twist to our mornings. However, the check-in process was excessively slow, and the air conditioning unit in the room was quite noisy, affecting our comfort during the night. Additionally, the breakfast buffet quality left much to be desired, and extra charges for certain facilities were disappointing.

the centara grand had beautiful grounds and a fun pool. our deluxe explorer king room felt new and was well-designed. i loved the live cooking station at breakfast—it was hard to leave hungry! the big waterpark and nearby private beach made it perfect for our family.
